Job Sites in Korea for Foreigners 2026: How to Use Saramin, JobKorea and More

Korea has many job sites, but a visible listing is not always an available job for you

Saramin and JobKorea do carry listings related to foreign applicants, foreign languages, overseas sales, and global markets. But finding a listing does not by itself answer three critical questions: whether the employer accepts foreign nationals, whether it supports a work-visa route, and whether someone currently outside Korea may apply.

This guide does not rank Korean job platforms. It shows what each site can help you find, which Korean search terms to use, and what you still need to verify before applying.

Quick answer
  • Saramin and JobKorea: useful for broad Korean-language searches across many local employers.
  • KOWORK: useful when you want an English interface and visible foreigner- or visa-related discovery labels.
  • LinkedIn: useful for an English-language Korea search and professional company research.
  • Wanted: useful for exploring roles, companies, industries, and foreign-language themes.
  • PeoplenJob: useful for foreign-company and career-level listings if you can navigate Korean.
  • E-9 applicants: should start with the official Employment Permit System rather than treating an ordinary job board as the overseas application route.

Important: labels such as 외국인 채용, 외국인 우대, E-7, or 비자 지원 are discovery signals. They do not guarantee that you qualify, that the employer will sponsor you, or that you can apply from abroad.

Korean job sites compared by use case

This is not a ranking by job volume or hiring success. It summarizes what was visible on each public site when reviewed in August 2026 and how an international applicant can use it.

How can a foreigner use Saramin?

Saramin is a Korean-primary general job site. Its current homepage presents a foreigner-recruitment route, making it a practical place to begin looking for relevant listings. The difficult part is not simply finding results. It is deciding whether the conditions in the full listing match your language, location, experience, and work status.

Saramin: search broadly, then verify inside the listing

Useful whenYou can search in Korean—or use browser translation—and want broad access to Korean employers and occupations.
How to searchStart with the foreigner-recruitment route on the homepage, then combine the Korean terms below with your occupation and location.
What to verifyResults may still require Korean residence, Korean ability, or existing work authorization. Saramin does not make the immigration decision for you.

Search examples
  • 외국인 우대 마케팅 서울 — foreigners preferred + marketing + Seoul
  • 영어 해외영업 신입 — English + overseas sales + entry level
  • 글로벌 콘텐츠 베트남어 — global content + Vietnamese
  • E-7 소프트웨어 개발 — E-7 + software development

These terms help you discover candidates for closer review. Even when a listing says 외국인 우대, you must still check whether the employer interviews people abroad, requires an existing Korean status, or provides any E-7 documentation support.

What to read after opening a Saramin listing

  1. Qualifications: education, experience, Korean, and other language levels.
  2. Work location: whether you must already live in Korea or commute locally.
  3. Application route: Saramin application or the employer’s own career site.
  4. Work authorization: stated employer support versus an existing-status requirement.
  5. Overseas application: remote interview, pre-entry process, and expected start date.

When is JobKorea useful for foreign applicants?

JobKorea can show listings containing terms such as 외국인 우대 (foreigners preferred), 외국인 유학생 (international students), foreign languages, and overseas sales. A current public example combined foreigner preference with a Korean-proficiency requirement. That is a useful reminder: welcoming foreign applicants does not mean Korean is unnecessary.

JobKorea: investigate the role and the employer in Korean

Useful whenYou want listings related to foreign languages, overseas markets, international students, or overseas sales and also want to inspect the employer’s other recruitment activity.
How to searchTry 외국인 우대, 외국인 유학생, 영어, 해외영업, your language, or a target country, then narrow by role, experience, and location.
What to verifyJobKorea is not a foreigner-only or visa-only platform. Read the full Korean, residence, experience, and work-authorization conditions in each listing.

How to read JobKorea results

  1. Do not stop at words such as foreigner, international student, foreign language, or global in the title.
  2. Open the qualifications and check Korean ability, education, experience, and current residence.
  3. Remember that 해외영업 means the work concerns overseas sales; it does not mean the employer hires people who live overseas.
  4. If visa or employer-document support is not stated, do not assume it is offered.
  5. If the listing sends you to a company career page, compare the conditions with the employer’s latest version.
Do you need to choose between Saramin and JobKorea?

No. The two sites may show different employers and results for the same Korean term. Test the same search on both. Before spending time building profiles everywhere, first check whether each platform actually shows roles that match your occupation, language, and current location.

What are the other platforms for?

KOWORK: start with foreigner- and visa-related discovery labels

Useful whenYou want to browse full-time, temporary, internship, freelance, and part-time opportunities through an English interface.
How to searchChoose a location, employment type, and job category, then inspect listings carrying an `E-7 Sponsors` label.
What to verifyA platform label is not a Ministry of Justice eligibility decision. Check whether the occupation matches your background and exactly which documents the employer will provide.

LinkedIn: search Korea in English and present your professional profile

Useful whenYou want to search companies and professional roles in English and make your experience visible through a profile.
How to searchSet the location to South Korea, Seoul, or another target area, then combine a job title, industry, and company name.
What to verifyAn English listing may still require Korean, local residence, or existing authorization. `Easy Apply` describes the application method, not sponsorship.

Wanted: explore roles, industries, and foreign-language themes

Useful whenYou prefer role- and company-based discovery and want to browse themes for positions requiring or preferring foreign languages.
How to searchUse your target occupation, industry, language, or country-related keyword.
What to verifyA foreign-language role is not automatically open to a foreign national. This review did not establish a current official filter that confirms foreigner acceptance or visa support across listings.

PeoplenJob: look for foreign-company and career-level listings

Useful whenYou want foreign-company listings plus student/recent-graduate and experienced-hire categories.
How to searchNavigate by occupation, industry, career level, and employer name.
What to verifyA foreign company is not automatically a foreigner-friendly employer. Check the Korean entity’s language, residence, and work-authorization requirements.

EPS: use the official route for E-9 and H-2

Useful whenYou are an E-9 or H-2 worker using the Employment Permit System.
How to startOpen the official EPS site and choose the service for your country and status.
What to verifyAn overseas E-9 applicant should not confuse an ordinary online job-board listing with the official EPS selection and introduction process.

Three checks before you apply

Answer these questions separately. A positive answer to one does not answer the other two.

  1. Foreign applicants: Does the employer explicitly accept or prefer foreign nationals?
  2. Visa or work authorization: Does it state an employer-supported route, or must you already have permission to work?
  3. Overseas applicants: Can someone outside Korea apply, or does the role require Korean residence and local commuting?

If a listing says nothing, treat the answer as not stated, not yes or no. Before investing time in an application, ask about remote interviews, current location, start date, work status, and the exact scope of employer document support.

Where should you start?

You live overseas and are starting your first Korea job search

  • Use KOWORK and LinkedIn to understand roles and conditions in English.
  • Use Korean job titles with 외국인 채용 or 외국인 우대 on Saramin and JobKorea.
  • Exclude listings requiring Korean residence or existing work authorization unless you already meet that condition.

You are graduating from a Korean university

  • Search Saramin and JobKorea for 외국인 유학생, entry-level roles, and your field of study.
  • Check KOWORK for internships, entry-level roles, and visible E-7-related labels.
  • Use your university career center and recruitment events alongside online platforms.

You are an experienced technology or professional applicant

  • Compare the same occupation on LinkedIn, Wanted, and KOWORK.
  • Prioritize experience, technical requirements, working language, and work-authorization support—not merely whether the listing is written in English.

You speak Korean and target office, marketing, or sales roles

  • Combine your occupation with your language or target market on Saramin and JobKorea.
  • Also check PeoplenJob and Wanted for foreign-company and foreign-language opportunities.

You are an overseas E-9 manufacturing applicant

  • Do not treat a normal commercial job board as the official overseas application route.
  • Use EPS to check the test, job application, employment contract, training, and entry sequence applicable to your country.

Frequently asked questions

Is Saramin available in English?

This review did not establish official full English access across Saramin. The public interface is Korean-primary. Browser translation can help with navigation, but compare automatically translated conditions against the Korean original.

Does Saramin have jobs for foreigners?

Its current homepage presents a foreigner-recruitment route, and you can find foreigner-, foreign-language-, and global-related listings. Whether a particular employer accepts overseas applicants or supports a visa remains a separate question.

Is JobKorea useful for foreigners?

Yes, especially if you can search in Korean. It can surface foreigner-preferred, international-student, overseas-sales, and foreign-language listings. It should not be treated as a foreigner-only or visa-only service.

Does “foreigner preferred” mean visa sponsorship?

No. An employer may prefer foreign applicants but accept only people who already have permission to work in Korea. Look for separate visa or employer-document-support wording.

Can I apply while living outside Korea?

It depends on the listing. An online application button does not prove overseas eligibility. Ask about remote interviews, pre-entry contracting, visa documents, and the expected start date.
