The Seoul Immigration Office (서울출입국·외국인청) is moving. From Monday, October 19, 2026, all of its work happens at the new building in Munjeong-dong, Songpa-gu. The old Mokdong building in Yangcheon-gu will no longer serve visitors.

How to get there
- Subway: Line 8 Munjeong Station (문정역), Exit 4, then about a 10-minute walk
- Bus: get off at Munjeong Rodeo Street Entrance (문정로데오거리입구) and walk about 15 minutes, or take the Songpa 02 village bus to Hillstate Eco Songpa (힐스테이트에코송파) or Seoul Korean Medicine Hospital (서울한방병원). From there it is about a 2-minute walk
- Car: visitor parking has grown to about 60 spaces, but spaces are still limited. Public transport is safer
What changes for your visit

- Residence services counters are combined on the 1st floor of the new building (press report)

Is the Mokdong office still open?
No. From October 19, 2026 the Seoul Immigration Office no longer handles work at the Mokdong building (151 Mokdongdong-ro).
